K9X Kiosks The K9X Kiosk is a prototype Red Telephone Kiosk that will gradually replace the current K6, K8 and KX Series Telephone Kiosks. The K9X Kiosk is a combination of a K7 Kiosk and the traditional K2 Kiosk and contains a modernized British Telecom Payphone. The kiosk itself contains free WiFi and requires the user to login via their mobile device. The site that you login to the free WiFi on, will allow you to leave a friendly comment. The Kiosks will be locked from 11PM as to avoid the homeless using the kiosk as a Urinal but the Free WiFi will be a 24/7 thing. As well as the modernized BT Payphone, the kiosk will have a well stocked First Aid Kit and a Defibrillator above the handset. If the Kiosk is broken into after 11PM, a silent alarm will be triggered and the Telephone Sign will begin to pulsate.
